ICSE Compartment Subjects and Rechecking process

The minimum marks range that a student of ISC class 10th needs to be declared pass in the exam is 35%. That means candidates need to score a minimum of 35 marks in a subject to pass the exam.

Students who don’t get the passing marks in any subject it is declared as a compartment subject. Such students need to apply for the Compartment exam in that particular to be declared as pass in the ISC Class 10th board exam.

Council For The Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) will conduct compartmental exams for ICSE and ISC students within three months from the academic year 2019. The exams will be held in the third week of July every year while the result will be declared in August. 

This introduction will give those students, who are unable to clear their class 10th, a second attempt to pass the exams without having to wait for another year. Earlier students could re-appear for the exams only in the subsequent year.

The CISCE Board has also made provision for the students to apply for re-evaluation and re-checking of the ICSE examination papers in case they are unhappy with their ICSE 10th Result 2019 scores.

  9. Enter your “email address and password and
  10. Next click on “login” tab
  11. Now application form will appear on the screen

  13. Recheck the details and make payment
  14. Next, after the final submission
  15. Don’t forget to take a printout of the filled application form.

ICSE Rechecking Application Fee 2019

  • The charges of recheck request are Rs 1000/-
  • This fee is applicable for per subject for the current year of examination.

Mode of Payment 

  • The applicant makes sure to make “registration payment” by using the advised payment gateway.
  • Once application fee is submitted, the payment would not be refunded under any circumstances, except in case of a change in grade.

ICSE 10th Revaluation Procedure

Though the ICSE Board overall pass percentage is recorded high this year with 98.21%, where the board topper has secured 98.51% marks. However, after such a high pass percentage if a candidate is feeling that he/ she hasn’t treated fairly, may apply for revaluation on/ before 20th May. 

As the board only accept CISCE Rechecking Form request within a duration of 7 working days from the day of result announcement.
